Outside Magazine x Wildlife Guardians // Alamocita: Marvin’s Legacy // Short Documentary

This short documentary, commissioned by Outside Magazine, explores the deep, entrenched relationship Cattle Farmers have with their land. Marvin is a multi-generational land owner in New Mexico, on a parcel named Alamocita. This film showcased the ways that organizations like WildEarth Guardians help land owners like Marvin retire grazing permits to help keep their legacy and heritage alive.

An amazing 4 day shoot down in New Mexico, outside of the Gila Wilderness. A privilege and a treat to visit. Marvin and his family were so gracious and welcoming during the course of this project.
